Businesses have taken full advantage of visual media for promoting products and services. Customers feel more satisfied when they can see a product, which is why many marketing strategies now revolve around stunning images.

For many, uploading images onto a website can sometimes be a hassle, especially if you don’t have a proper image manager in place. That’s why we’re covering Froala today, a free WYSIWYG HTML editor that is bound to make your life easier.

Froala Image Uploader

Froala Image Uploader is part of the Froala WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor. The Image Uploader is a JavaScript plugin that allows you to upload images to your website. If you integrate it into a form, it allows you to set custom variables for limiting your users to a specific image file type, size, or image dimensions if needed.

The plugin has a lightweight design, is responsive across different platforms, and is easy to customize. Users can also choose to insert images from a link instead of uploading them from their computers. Currently, it only offers uploading files one by one at this time, however, if you want to upload multiple images at once, you can do so using the WYSIWYG editor. Thus, you can use both the Image Uploader and WYSIWYG editor alongside for a better experience.

Although the Froala Image Uploader is mainly meant for integrating into a form for public users to use, it can also be used for a variety of other functions.

Uploading Images to Servers

You can use Froala to upload images and files to your .NET server. What makes it one of our favorites is its clean and easy-to-use interface, which makes things much easier. You also don’t need to do any special coding, since it offers 30 out-of-the-box plugins for you to use.

The Froala Image Uploader is a part of the Froala Editor, and the company offers extensive documentation and guides making it easier for developers to use. Easy server integration is offered, with SDK libraries for 5 different server types being available to download and integrate into your project.

Pricing

Froala’s Image Uploader (part of the WYSIWYG Editor) is available for free if you’re using it locally and not in a live product. Similarly, it’s free if you’re using it only as an image uploader tool. Otherwise, you’ll have to purchase a subscription to use it commercially (for example on blogs, personal applications, commercial websites, and so on). The Basic subscription starts at $199 a year and allows for 1 product across 3 domains. If you plan to use Froala on a monetized website or app, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro license, which costs $899 a year.

All licenses include free software updates for 12 months. You can purchase a subscription directly from Froala’s website.

The Froala Image Uploader’s neat interface and easy functionality has made it one of our favorites. We recommend you download and try the free version to see how it works for you on your website!
